The Riseman is a solar powered watch, as are the rest of the "Man" range. The power from the sun, or even fluorescent lights, is collected in solar cells built into the watch face. The cells are so integral to the Riseman's build that you would not consideration them. That power is then stored in a rechargeable battery. The batteries have a very long life and are able to keep the watch running, no matter what the light conditions, once they have been fully charged. In fact a Riseman could sit in the dark for up to 20 months without a recharge and still keep accurate time. This is made possible by the power rescue feature which will switch off the face display if the watch is left in the dark.

The Riseman has four independent alarms that you can set for various events throughout the day. One of the alarms has a built in snooze feature which you can use to catch those extra few minutes in bed.

The thermometer will part the temperature from -10°C to 60°C that's 14 to 140°F in units as low as 0.1°C or 0.2°F and like all functions on the Riseman it is a simple switch to display in metric or imperial measurements.
The barometer measures in the middle of 260 to 1,100 hPa (7.65 to 32.45 inHg) and can display a graphical image of pressure tendency and pressure differential.
The altimeter can display the altitude in the middle of -700 to 10,000 m (-2,300 to 32,800 ft.). The altimeter estimation can store up 20 recordings in its manual memory. Each recording will contain the altitude with its date month and time.
The altimeter includes its own built in stop watch so that altitude changes can be measured over any given period. In increasing to the manual memory the Riseman also has current and cumulative memory banks to description your altitude over any specified duration and the life of the watch.
The Riseman has a resin wrist band, a built in calendar until 2099. It measures 51 X 48.9 X 15.9 mm weighs in at only 60.5g
